The story behind the brand
We are passionate about golf. We thrive on helping businesses succeed.
Having attended many corporate and charity golf days, we wanted to take all the best bits and roll them into a formal membership network that combines these two key elements of our lives.
Clubhouse Leaders was first talked about in 2023 when we were discussing the frustrations we had with the traditional corporate golf day; namely:
how hard it was to win - due to the relaxed approach to handicaps
how expensive it can be - as you usually have to enter a whole team
how difficult it can be to form new meaningful contacts - because they tend to be one-off events
We aren’t saying that traditional Golf Days don’t have a place, they absolutely do and we love playing in them! However we wanted to try to address the above points with the creation of a new brand, providing something different to what is already on offer.
With Clubhouse Leaders we have:
addded a formal structure for those without a WHS index, with their handicaps being amended after each round; providing a more level playing field and delivering a competitive format
introduced a low membership fee, plus a per event fee; allowing you to choose how many times you attend and how much you spend
provided the ability to play in up to 9 events; supplying the opportunity for the creation of more meaningful relationships within the Yorkshire Clubhouse Leaders Community
Our team has exceptional experience in both networking and golf. We understand what it takes to deliver a professional, yet relaxed event.
We are committed to delivering value for our members.

I’ve worked in the Yorkshire professional services sector in business development roles since 2004.
During that period I have developed a fantastic network of contacts that have supported me in my current Director role at Squire Patton Boggs and previously at Mazars. I’ve attended hundreds of networking events, met thousands of people – some becoming close friends. I know what a good and effective event looks like!
My passion for golf has supported the growth of my network immensely. Where else do you get 5 hours of uninterrupted time with senior, business decision makers?
I will find it tough that I won’t be competing but I am excited to develop a new community and help make connections that can take your business to the next level.

My varied career covers everything needed to bring exceptional golf events to the Yorkshire business community.
Starting out with 12 years in senior advisory roles within financial services (with Chase de Vere Investments & Coutts), I then spent 6 years running my own wedding & event planning business - something that fit around having kids and gave me an interesting creative change from the formality of advising people on their investments.
For the past 9 years I have been helping businesses to grow, I am now a Director with Fresh Thinking Advisory.
I also spent over 2 years as Vice Chair at Business Beats Cancer Yorkshire; raising over £100,000 and taking the lead on the planning of our first ever charity golf day.
I love helping businesses succeed, planning events with military precision, and of course playing golf whenever I get the chance.
